Testing Methodologies

Learning the basics of testing from how to plan a test, how to execute and how to automate using the most advanced frameworks and best practices.

Java Essentials

Learning the essentials of the Java language, practicing hands-on coding, and solving real-world problems.

JavaScript/TypeScript Essentials

Learning the essentials of web development (HTML, CSS) with a spotlight on the JavaScript and TypeScript programming language.

API Testing

Learning how to test back-end applications and servers using REST API.

Selenium

Testing web applications using Selenium with Java and learning how to design effective and stable tests. Implementing BDD (Behavior-driven development) tests using Cucumber to use tests as our app’s documentation.

PlayWright

Learning the cutting edge tool of web testing - Playwright using TypeScript. Developing fast and efficient web application tests.

Appium

Learning the most used tool of mobile and desktop testing and implementing tests using best practices.

How do I know if I’m the right fit for the program?
What is the application process?

Our application process is all online and includes several steps: a registration form on our website, a technical task & introduction video, an evaluation center and a personal interview.

What are the program requirements?

The course will run in a “full-time” format, Sunday to Thursday, from 9:00-17:00 and will require full attendance.
The course is demanding, so you must be fully motivated to take part in the process, participate in lessons and prepare homework assignments.

Why should I pick A-tech compared to other programs available?

A-tech will give you the practical skills and knowledge you need to enter the constantly changing high tech industry. The program is free of charge and we do everything we can to find out graduates a job.

Why QA automation?

Automation testing is gaining momentum year after year. This is not the old-fashioned manual QA tester. Nowadays, QA automation engineers need the skill set of software developers and use advanced tools to create robust and scalable software testing that are integrated into the development lifecycle. QA automation engineers are making a huge impact in small, medium and large companies and the demand for them is on the rise.

What practical skills will I gain from the course?

The course will kick-start your career as a QA automation engineer. You will first learn general testing methodologies with a focus on automation testing structure and best practices. Then you will learn programming languages such as Java and TypeScript that will help write code for automated testing. Finally, you will learn various industry standard tools such as Selenium, PlayWright and Appium that you will use for testing APIs, web, mobile and desktop applications. Everything will be backed-up with real life hands-on projects. Will I really be able to find a QA automation position at the end of the program?

Of course! QA automation is a field that is constantly growing and with it the demand in the market. Our program was created with exactly this goal in mind - to help you enter your first role as a QA automation engineer.

No, the course is only for those who wish to enter the QA automation field.
